Using E-mail with Globat.com
One of the advantages of having a
Globat.com Web hosting account is the ability
to have your own, personalized e-mail
addresses. Whether for professional or
personal reasons, using a
yourname@yourdomain.com address will
leave a lasting impression.
If you haven't already created your own
e-mail address on your account, here's how
you can in a few simple steps:
- As always, first log into the Globat Command
Console® (GCC), and then click on the Email
tab. You can also log in using this link to
be taken there directly.
- Click the ADD MAILBOX button.
- Create your Username and Password. Your
username is what will appear before the
@yourdomain.com. You can use
letters, numbers, hyphens, underscores, and
periods.
Because your email is at your own domain
and not at a public e-mail service, such as
Gmail or Hotmail, you don't have to worry
about the username you want being already taken.
Unsure of what to create? Try:

firstinitial.lastname

With your Globat.com Web hosting account,
your possibilities are endless! Plus, with
no quantity restrictions on our end, you can
create as many different e-mail addresses as
you want.
Once your e-mail is created, you can use
it with your favorite e-mail client such as
Outlook or Eudora, or you can use your
browser and access it from any
Internet-enabled computer in the world.
Simply go to
http://webmail.yourdomain.com to
access your e-mail. (Remember to replace
yourdomain.com
with your actual domain!)

4th of July Celebration
For the second year in a row, Globat.com
was the crowd favorite at our local Chamber
of Commerce 4th of July Celebration. With
temperatures close to 100 degrees, a
team of Globat.com employees volunteered to
spend the day meeting members of the
community and sharing information about
Globat.com.
Held on the CBS Studios lot, the
celebration raised money for local schools
and offered businesses and residents an
opportunity to meet and greet. In addition
to the business expo, everyone enjoyed a
Beatles tribute band, a smokehouse bbq, and
rubbing elbows with CBS celebrities. The
highlight of the event was the nighttime
fireworks show, one of the most spectacular
displays in the entire city.
